دور المقاومة النسائية على عهد الحماية في الصناعة السياسية لتاريخ المغرب المعاصر
Keywords:
Women, Morocco, Protectorate Period, Making HistoryAbstract
Women served as an impenetrable fortress for national identity, preserving Moroccan heritage—including its customs, traditions, and dress—while rejecting assimilation and Francization policies aimed at erasing the Moroccan character. The role of Moroccan women during the period of the Protectorate and other stages of the struggle against colonialism was neither secondary nor complementary, but rather foundational, shaping the very essence of popular resistance in all its dimensions: armed, cultural, and social. Their struggle constitutes a brilliant chapter in Morocco's history and serves as a reminder of women's pivotal role when it comes to defending the land, identity, and dignity.
