Abstract

This study explores the future of Islam and Muslims in the West through a critical examination of Western civilization as a historical, epistemological, and cultural phenomenon rather than merely a geographical or political entity. The study argues that constructing a sustainable future for Muslim communities in Western societies requires an objective understanding of the historical formation of modern Western civilization and the underlying assumptions of its dominant worldview.
