Abstract

This article examines the theoretical foundations of ethics in government communication by analyzing the ethical challenges that public communication professionals face. It also reviews the main ethical theories that guide their work, including utilitarianism, deontological ethics, and virtue ethics. The article points out the limitations of each approach and explores how they can be combined. This can help create effective government communication that balances the public interest with ethical standards.
