Abstract

This research aims to explore the future of teaching the Arabic language in light of the rapid expansion of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies. It identifies the major transformations expected in language curricula, teaching strategies and assessment systems, while analyzing potential challenges and proposing practical solutions. The study adopts a descriptive–analytical approach based on recent educational and technological research. Findings reveal that AI will shift Arabic language instruction from teacher-centered models to intelligent, interactive, and personalized learning. The future of Arabic hinges on the ability of institutions to adopt modern technologies while preserving linguistic identity and cultural values. The paper recommends establishing linguistic AI policies, developing intelligent Arabic content, and training teachers to competently integrate AI without compromising the essence of the language
