This study forms part of ongoing efforts to examine the position of artificial intelligence within the crisis management framework, through an approach that combines conceptual grounding with applied analysis. It begins by defining the conceptual framework related to crisis management and artificial intelligence, while distinguishing between closely related concepts such as risks and disasters, with the aim of eliminating terminological ambiguity and precisely delineating the scope of the study. The paper further highlights the functional roles of artificial intelligence algorithms across the different stages of the crisis cycle, including prediction and early warning, response and coordination, as well as recovery and reconstruction. It also addresses the legal, technical, and ethical challenges that may limit the effective integration of these technologies into public policies. The study concludes with a set of findings and recommendations affirming that the deployment of artificial intelligence constitutes a strategic lever for enhancing efficiency and institutional resilience in confronting crises: management.
