Abstract

In this sense, AI proves to be an important contribution to greater economic competitiveness. Contrary to technological innovation and digital startup movements, it replaces traditional production layers, simplifies decision-making, and improves the ability of economies to cope with general changes. In a critical manner, by presenting concrete cases in the Mediterranean, then in Europe and Africa, this communication presents a described characterization of the repercussions of AI on capacity. It also presents the threats that technological trade pushes, the bias of automatic optimizations, and the dangers of digital fragmentation. It therefore also includes perspectives for a future ethical and inclusive governance in order to also benefit from the AI vigor of new economies by maintaining strategic sovereignty and their human wealth.
